The Grande Prairie area is nesting grounds for Trumpeter Swans, which is the symbol of the town. The waterfowl refuge is located in Crystal Lake. At Kleskun Hills, visitors will discover nature’s past. The area is composed of layers of sediments and remains from a pre-historic river. Fossilized dinosaur bones and other materials have been found hear. You can also explore the area’s native plant and bird species on a nature walk.
