The town of Leduc is located just a few minutes south of Edmonton on Highway 2, and is just southeast of the Edmonton International Airport. Leduc is home to around 16,000 residents. In February 13, 1947 oil was first discovered here and the town prospered. The city of Leduc offers numerous outdoor festivals, art shows, open-air markets and a variety of sporting activities throughout the year.
