The Kalyna Country Museum is the world's largest Eco-museum, encompassing a region of 20,000 square kilometres. The area extends from the City of Edmonton towards Lloydminster on the Saskatchewan border. Sherwood Park's Heritage Mile
When you get tired of driving, get out and walk "the Mile" to re-live rural Strathcona County in the early 20th century, long before Sherwood Park existed. Along the way, you’ll see Smeltzer House, Ottewell Centre, Salisbury United Church, Monument Park and Smyth Farm. Tour "the mile" from Broadmoor Boulevard traffic circle to Main Boulevard in Sherwood Park. A 100 page guide book is available for sale at Chapters, the Chamber of Commerce or the museum.
